What we collect

When you message Agent BG on WhatsApp we receive your WhatsApp phone number and the content of the messages you send us. We do not ask for your name, email, resume, documents, or any identity number — and you should not send them.

What we do with it

Your phone number is never stored in readable form. It is converted to a keyed one-way hash the moment it reaches us, and only that hash is written to our database. We cannot recover your number from it.

The text you send is stored so we can produce a verdict, so a human can review it if the automated checks are unsure, and so we can improve our scam detection.

How long we keep it

Message content is deleted automatically after 90 days. Where a message is queued for human review, the identifier needed to reply to you is deleted within 7 days, or as soon as the review is resolved — whichever comes first. Verdicts and anonymous signals are kept longer; they contain no identifying information.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or share your data. We have no advertising, and no employer pays us for anything.

When an automated check is unsure, the text of your message may be sent to a language-model provider to help resolve it. Your phone number is never included.

To check a link you send us, we fetch that public web page — the same as opening it in a browser.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — message Agent BG, or email hello@veritan.in. Because your number is stored only as a hash, we identify your records by you messaging us from the same number.

No tracking pixels. No advertising. No third-party analytics on this page. No cookies for tracking.
